Finally got a chance to visit this potty cake for the first time with my secondary school buddies.! But it would also be my last time because.... continue reading.

Blueberry Cheese Cake  RM11.90

Don't be fooled but this photo. With a price of RM12 (even more expensive than a coffee bean or starbucks cheese cake), the portion is really really small. Like the size of my palm. And most importantly its tasted weird to me. It did not turn out to be what I expected. I thoughts it supposed to taste like an ordinary blueberry cheese cake but it gave me a taste of coconut milk which was kind of disgusting for me. Seriously? A blueberry chesse cake that does't take like a blueberry cheese cake?

As for the ingredients, I've seen only 2 thin layers of sponge cake with vanila flavour, a lot of cream (NOT CHEESE), and soil made from Oreo. Selling it at 12 bucks is really way too much. Over price and over rated.

PS: I went to Coffee Bean to buy a Blueberry Cheese Cake on the next day. You know what I felt? "OMG IT'S DAMN GOOD". Some more cheaper! RM10 only. So Fa Guo San, no more next time.

Hello. Greetings. Have you pay a visit to Kek Lok Si Temple this year? If you haven't visit it, please please please go and visit! The display of lights is a little bit different for this year, making it an eye-opening experience! The setting and arrangement of the lights and lanterns are so so so nice. I would say this year is the best for the past 10 years.(ok la. i got exaggerate a bit) Let me show you some photos.

Tong Pak Fu ft Phoebe ft Nikon D5100 a.ka. New Camera

Mom got me a new camera D5100 last month. Sooooo happy because it has a flip out LCD screen! My old D3000 doesn't even have live view. Btw I'm planning to sell my D3000, anyone interested? XD

Below are the first few photos from my new camera.

Phoebe you should feel proud to be the first person appeared in my camera! XD

DSC_0047 士多啤梨凉粉朱古力冰 RM7.80.
Chocolate Snow Ice with Strawberry, Grass Jelly and Red Bean.
I felt like I was in heaven! It tasted damn good!! Especially the ice! I thought the ice will taste like the normla shave ice but it surprised me. The ice was fluffy and fine, unlike the traditional ice kacang, and it was robust with the chocolate flavor with the right sweetness.

DSC_0059 Ok. Sorry. I got tons of photos in my camera. Lol
Not just because of the new camera but Tong Pak Fu was also new in Penang!
D5100 is an awesome camera, no doubt. 100 times better than my old D3k esp in low ISO shooting.

DSC_0112 And again... I took a lot of 'hair' photos as well cause I think my hair looks good under the sunlight. Still looking good after 8 months of perming! Proud of myself!

DSC_0131 I look better without my face right?!

DSC_0123 Just want to show my long wavy hair. Btw I look fat here. lol
Ok la. Last one already. Dare not post out more.
Kthxbai! (No idea why people starts to use this as their ending for blog post -_-)

Delicious, Straits Quay

Before the world is going to end on 21st December 2012, I want to post something related to my family as well as some good food. Just got my ass back to Penang this afternoon and I'm feeling gooooood. Even if the world ends tomorrow (probably in a less than an hour time -.-), I know I'm at home with my family. If the whole 'the-end-of-the-world' thing is true, we can at least witness the historical moment together (and die together).

Btw, dad said he is going to buy some candlers tomorrow. lol. Our family is quite excited and anticipated for this. Deep down inside my heart, I kinda hope that it's true and I'd feel proud for getting a chance to experience the scenes in the movie 2012.

When: 6th October 2012
Where: Delicious, Straits Quay
Who: Mom, Dad and Me

Chicago Ribs House || Gurney Plaza, Penang

Chicago Ribs House is not a newly open restaurant in Gurney Plaza but I don't understand why we never knew it was there?! Until I heard someone told me, they serve the best ribs in town, I was like okay "Am going to check this out". During my August semester break, I dragged my parents to try something new =V=

DSC_0023
You can eat every part of a pig!

DSC_0026
Caesar Salad RM12.90 (I'm not mistaken).
It's out family tradition kind of thing, salad is a must if we're going to have a heavy & meaty meal.
If the portion of the salad is big enough, then you'll probably already be half-full from the sald and will eat less at a result.

DSC_0027
Expensive salad deserves more photo.

DSC_0029 Pork Ribs Original Sauce (Half Rack RM32.90)
Finaly, here comes the main course! The ribs! OMG I've been yearning to eat this for months! Finally I had a chance! So, as usual, take photos first. Even When I'm looking at it while typing, I can still remember the taste, deeply in my mind.... Too bad the price is not 'friendly'.

DSC_0030 And again! Expensive ribs deserve more photos!

DSC_0031 Pork Ribs in BBQ Sauce (Full Rack RM59.90)
The price is even unfriendly in full rack! It's SIXTY RINGGIT! Luckily it tasted damn good. Finger licking good. But I still prefer the classic sauce.

I think I shall try the Morganfield's ribs next time. I heard it was good or even better than Chicago's. And most importantly, it's cheaper ^^

That's all. Back to my research report T^T

August Semester Break

Hi people. My blog is half dead. I shall update before I become really busy. Initinally I wasn't going to blog about this outing with Phoebe but I feel my edit very nice. Yea right. I just downloaded a trial version of Photoshop CS6 2 weeks ago and I'm kinda addicted to it.

DSC_0004
Tried newly open Hui Lau Shan @Gurney Plaza Penang.
I did expect a lot from Hui Lau Shan as I saw many people queuing up just to taste the over price desserts. Therefore I thought the deserts they serve should be something really nice.

DSC_0006
It's my hand. I know it's hand. lol

DSC_0008Ordered this don't-know-what-name. RM4.90 for a really small portion.  I have only one thing to say: Hui Lau Shan is extremely over rated! I prefer traditional tong shui that taste a lot better and CHEAPER. I'm a big fan of red bean and green bean soup.

DSC_0020
Went to Bar-B-Q Plaza to have dinner.
