Of Bullet Train and Cruise Ship

Yay!!! I had my first bullet train ride in Japan! Although the journey was very short, 15 minutes only but I was super duper excited! Sampat people. lol. Can't help it, I live in Penang and we don't even have LRT here.

Bullet train is called as Shinkansen, is a network of high-speed railway lines in Japan that has been developed for 37 years (staring with the Tokaido Shinkansen in 1964). The speed is about 581km/hr, fast but in steady pace. Such a high technology country.

Wooo! Ticket on hand.
Our journey is from A point (somewhere) to B point (somewhere).

AHHH! The bullet train! This is the best photo I have, it was moving fast.
Dint have time to change the shutter speed. Fail max.

Took a family photo at the railway station.
Another nice piece of architecture :)

Reached B point, Japanese bento set lunch as our lunch.

Such a square meal, meat, chicken, fish, vegetable and fruit, all in one set.
More or less same with those we eat in local Japanese Restaurant.

Fried muachee. Very crispy but me no like its filling =X
Yam I suppose, should change it to something else. Yam is not my thingy.

Japanese calender. Nothing much different with ours.

After lunch,  we went to Hokone by Hokone Pirate Ship that ferries people across Lake AshiLake Ashi is a crater lake that lies along the southwest wall of teh caldera of Mount hakone, a complex volcano.

It was freezing cold!!! I can't tell you how strong is the wind probably stronger than any wind I'd experience in Malaysia (of course la -_-).
But.... I like it. Hahahaha

It may look peace and calm, but still, it's a live volcano!

Kuro-tamago (黑玉子), a local specialty of hard-boiled egg, The eggs are placed in the volcanic ground water or hot springs and the rich minerals turn the shell of of the eggs black and smell slightly sulfuric. It was said to increase longevity by 7 years for every egg you eat.

Cant be greedy, according to the legend, you can only eat 2, that's the most.

The eggs are sold 5 eggs at a time (you cannot just buy one), for 500 yen, which is 20 Ringgit for 6 eggs.
It is totally worth for RM4 per egg if I end up living 7 years longer as a result. lol

The world famous black egg that adds years to your life- Kuro Tamago - from Hakone (not from black hen ah).
In case you're curious about the taste, errr just taste like normal egg lo, nothing different.

It was very interesting to see the hydrogen sulfide gas steaming out of the ground but the smell was extremely unpleasant D:

Hehehehe. What's this?? Sneak peak of next update :D
