26 Novemver 2010, Penang > Hong Kong > Shanghai
We woke up at 4.30am (damn sleepy!) because we needed to arrive at the Penang International Airport before 6.30am. I couldn't sleep well the night before the trip. It's normal for me to get excited about on going on holiday. I get in bed early but I don't fall asleep until hours later because I'm worrying about what I may have forgotten, do I have enough clothes etc etc. I stay up thinking about everything that could go wrong.
My boarding pass :)
The best thing for the meal was... the yogurt.
A photo of myself.
It's not difficult for you to find a recycle bin in Hong Kong International Airport. They have it everywhere.
We were at the 94th floor of Shanghai World Financial Center. It opened just in time for the August Olympics, this is the tallest skyscraper in Shanghai at 101 floors and the second tallest skyscaper in the world. It's a famous spot to enjoy a bird's eye view of the day or night scenes of Shanghai.
The amazing view of the city. Spectacular isn't it? Each building has its own specific designed architecture and with lots of night lighting, it looks astonishing. China has improved a lot and it's still developing, fast. And yes, I am stunned by China's incredible development over the last decade. They just prove to the world (esp the western county) that, impossible is nothing!
The Shanghai Bund.
The green building is the Oriental Pearl Tower.
DSLR users know how hard could it be to take a night scene without a tripod :(
I shall end this post with another photo of myself .
