Langkawi is an island so for sure it's surrounded by stunning turquoise sea. It's sandy white beaches and bright green water has been attracting tourists for years. Shall we not see those beaches? Hell no!
1st station: Black Sand Beach
Black Sand Beach is just one of the other beach in Langkawi and it's nothing much to see except the black sand. Due to combination of certain minerals, the sand on this beach is black in colour.
It used to be darker (from the photos i saw on the Internet).
Nothing special . We spent less than 5 minutes on the beach
Feeling nostalgic?
Le me on da beach.
2nd station: Pulau Beras Basah
We joined an island hopping tour (we purchased the package at the airport on the earlier day, RM30 per person) as it's said to be one of the must-do activity in Langkawi. So, we were thinking, why not?
Once the boat started to speed, me and my mother (and the girl behind ) screamed like nobody! It was way scarier than a normal roller coaster! Maybe my body weight is too light la or what, I almost fell off the boat for a few times. Poor me, was sitting on the left side of the boat and the wind was god damn strong.
Then something unexpected happened. The boat's engine broke down in the middle of the sea! F the driver! I thought I was really terrified enough until he told us "Boat sudah rosak, tak boleh jalan lagi". We were sort of terampung-ampung in the middle of the sea, waiting for other boats to come and rescue us. We prayed and prayed and prayed. Although we all had our life jackets on, we (dad, mom, me and brother) can't swim! NO NEXT TIME FOR ME! No more island hopping.
The jetty, where the nightmare started!
Was thinking: Phew, we're arriving soon. Mana tau they have 3 stopping point for island hopping T_T
Pulau Beras Basah or "Wet Rice Island" was the last stop and its also the prettiest one. This place is lovely!
Look at the sea water and sandy white beaches!
Warm beaches, gentle breeze, crystal clear water, white sand and le cute blogger.
Despite the "boat sudah rosak" and I have darker skin now, this place is totally worth paying a visit :)
